John Brennan
John is our Manchester representative, he played his first gig on the 20th December 1963 at the St. Johns girl guides Christmas dance in Bury Lancashire. “ I transported my guitar and amp on a trolly to the school hall” it took me a hour to travel the one mile from my house. We learnt the then number one record in the charts to make a good impression. “ I want to hold your hand” by The Beatles.
He was a star ! The confirmation is yet to be made !
Playing all the major North West venues, John finally “turned Pro” in 1969 and travelled all over Great Britain and toured in France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Japan and Norway until people got wise and he had to get a day job in 2008.
John now spends his time walking the dog and is a part time spy for MI 6.
